It’s been awhile since our last new hotels in Miami and around Florida blog post, so it’s time for a refresh! Since FloridaBeyond launched in February 2021, new hotels continue to open in Florida, and we’re here for it. From Jacksonville Beach to Ocala to Bonita Springs and Miami Beach — and many more destinations in between — we’ve got you covered. Let’s take a look at 18 new hotels in Miami and around Florida to check into.

The Local St. Augustine

Take a classic road-side motel and transform it with modern digital experiences and you have The Local in St. Augustine, between downtown and the beaches. Sea Jay Motel and Marina — Treasure Island

Another newly-renovated motel that’s worth checking into is the Sea Jay Motel and Marina in Treasure Island, near St. Pete Beach and downtown St. Pete. Whether you arrive by boat, car, or foot, you’ll love diving into the pool or taking a shot at shuffleboard before diving into the Gulf of Mexico which is just steps away. Back at the motel, all of the guest rooms and suites have kitchenettes and kitchens so you can make yourself right at home.

Anna Maria Beach Resort — Anna Maria Island

One of our favorite parts of Florida has a new resort — the Anna Maria Beach Resort on Anna Maria Island, just west of Bradenton and north of Sarasota. The four-star resort has just 31 rooms, ensuring a nice, quiet beach getaway. The guest rooms have kitchens and kitchenettes so you can stay awhile and spent time at the beach, or poolside in one of the resort’s cabanas.

Uma House South Beach — Miami

One of the new hotels in Miami is Uma House in South Beach has just 68 rooms, making it a boutique hotel that will be sure to be memorable. When you leave your room, check out the 12,000 square foot pool deck, the rooftop that’s fun day and night, and  and splendid poolside space. This rooftop is where you can laze around by day, and the beach lounge area that’s a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Shangri-La Springs — Bonita Springs
